The yearly wrap - part 1

With 2016 almost behind us, I thought it was time to let you all know about some of the amazing weddings we have worked on over the year, before we all get caught up in the joy of Christmas. Hopefully some of this information can inspire your wedding plans for the new year!

Michelle & Ed

The wonderful and super fun-loving Michelle & Ed gave us our first experience in planning and coordinating a wedding at the gorgeous Forget Me Not in Coopers Shoot, just outside of Bangalow, NSW.

We met Michelle & Ed early in the year to look for their dream venue, and were so glad they chose this luscious property, set amongst the rolling hills of the Northern NSW Hinterland - it truly is amazing.

A blank canvas venue, we worked closely with a range of wonderful suppliers to ensure all elements for the wedding were delivered. They selected the unique Byron Bay Pavilions structure and included an outdoor dance floor so guests could dance under the stars. Ed's very talented sister decided to take on the role of styling the pavilion, which included a magnificent hanging floral piece that wowed guests.

Following their wedding ceremony at St. Kevin’s in Bangalow, guests arrived on buses at Forget Me Not for sunset canapes and drinks on the lawn. The party then moved into the pavilion to share a feasting menu across four long wooden farm tables.

To cap off a stunning evening, they engaged local soul legend Lisa Hunt to sing under the stars so they and their guests could dance the night away. What an amazing wedding!

Angela & Joe

What can you say about Angela & Joe, our most recent wedded clients. The most beautiful couple, they were a joy to work with as we planned their special day at Parkwood International on the Gold Coast.

Working closely with Angela, who was based interstate, we sourced the venue, planned the ceremony styling, bridal flowers, videographer, catering and guest transport needs. Angela & Joe had over 200 guests attend their wedding with an outdoor ceremony in the gorgeous on-course pavilion and then a seated reception in the Ballroom at QT Gold Coast in Surfers Paradise.

Angela had a vision of an elegant, flower filled wedding and she was not disappointed. We worked closely with a number of suppliers to transform the wedding pavilion into her white wedding dream. The pavilion was styled with faux flower pieces, white drapes and finished with a gorgeous rose wall, which certainly stole the show. The white carpet, shepherd hooks, and white and gold tiffany chairs finished off the space perfectly and complemented the green grass and blue sky, creating a ceremony space that guests will not forget.

Following the ceremony, conducted by their local Pastor, the bride & groom and their bridal party took to the golf course in buggies for their photos (which was a super fun experience!). Guest were escorted to enjoy drinks in the Grand View Room at the venue before travelling by coach to the wedding reception. Another beautiful wedding successfully completed, and another happy couple. Tick.
